Like Gumballs in a Quiche

"Like gumballs in a quiche" was a saying that was used when Reagan stored tidbits of information and then drop this information randomly later in his speeches.

When talking about quiche, I do feel like there is something inside.  Quiches are so easy to make and can be made a variety of ways.  The word quiche actually originated in Germany.  It came from the German word "kuchen" which means cake.  The french later renamed it lorraine.

One of my favorite quiches is sausage, mushroom, and spinach.  Below is the recipe.

3 eggs
1/3 c milk
1/3 c yogart
1/2 cheese, any variety (I use mozarella)
box of frozen spinach, thawed
sliced mushrooms (you determine how many)
1/2 pound pork sausage

Mix together and put in a pie crust.  Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.   Voila!
